Just 'cuz I happen to be NOI and not a more mainstream form of Islam doesn't mean I agree with or even buy a lotta what the Minister says. Frankly, I admire Minister Farrakhan for a lot of his views on the self-sufficiency of the Black community and that we need to do for our own and NOT rely on "good liberal Whites" or the guh'mmint. But no, I ain't buy everythang he says or even the NOI says. (Like that "White Devil" crap.) There are many of us in Islam, which was awfully tolerant of homosexuality and boylove until the rise of the Wahabii fundamentalism a few hunfred years ago in what is now Daudi Arabia. Check out an organization called Queer Jihad to get an idea of just how many of us there really are. Even the SGL brothaz IN the Nation are quietly workin' within our faith to moderate some of the views of our leadership in that regard. Even Malcolm disavowed his homophobia after he made the Hajj.
