has allowed me to teach to numerous students a year and go on mission trips with jr. high and highschool kids during the summer. I just got back from going to Mexico and I'm going back to Russia again in July. I've had the privalige to get to know some of those kids rather well on our recent trip to Mexico, and we're going to an all day Christain concert next weekend. This week I'm doing a jr. high camp. The mission trips center around kids also. Also, I didn't settle for just a group picture. My job on the Mexico trip was to take video and pictures of the events. I ended up taking about 400 altogether. I do not say any of this to boast of my time with children (boys) but to boast the opportunity and blessings God has given me. Count your blessings more than your failings. We all have those. Thank God more than you ask him for things and your life will be blessed beyond measure. David was not chosen king because he was a good person. He fell many times, but what he did was worship and give thanks to God for years while hearding sheep. Thus God chose him for a great purpose. I was where you are now about 5 years ago, when I lost my girlfriend of 3 years, my job, and had just discovered Boylove. Talk about a time Satan will tempt. I'd take your friend's advice and do well with what God has given you. And don't just settle for those few moments and one group picture in the end. Jump in with both feet, take loads of pictures and by all means ENJOY!! How is admiring God's creation of beauty lustig after it? God didn't call us "fearully and wonderfully made" for us to be ashamed when we happen to look at it. Keep praising God and you'll be on the right path. Blessings, Oliver |
