though I guess the alarm bells rang for me when you referred to him inviting you to kiss him. What did he understand by that action? We can make two mistakes with our YFs - assume they don't know anything and so give out messages by our actions that say more than we think they say, or we assume they know everything, when in fact they are acting purely innocently. One of the benefits of being in an environment where gay relationships are not considered as a possibility (whether by the country's culture or the church's rules) is that you can be more physical because it is less likely to be taken as having a sexual overtone! I hope that the relationship does deepen with a clear God based component developing so that one day you will be able to look and see that boy as a man of God who been an instrument for much good for many.... |
