-Putting "under God" in the PoA in 1954

-British "blasphemy" laws

-Sunday "blue laws"

-Giving churches, (and to be fair-mosques and temples, too), an unconstitutional and unfair tax-exempt status

-Opposing civil union statutes and same-sex couple benefits laws

-Claining that the equal rights that you all enjoy are "special rights" for us

-Pat Robertson running for president, (Just what the US needs, another Ayatullah Khomeini)

-Trying to legislate your agenda through the political process by a bald attempt to hijack the party of fiscal responsibility, (GOP), in America.

-Jerry Falwell stating on nationwide TV that 9/11 was the fault of "homosexuals, liberals, atheists, and People for the American Way."

-Tryin' to censor what appears in tax-supported school libraries, ("Harry Potter promotes Satanism")

The American Christian church has tried to impose its will on us since the beginning. And your pat answer is that "this nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles." Well I got news for ya, it WASN'T. (Even a quick glance through "The Federalist Papers" should dispell that fallacy.)

I may be a Muslim, now, (And I sure as heck don't want an Iranian-style theocracy set up under Sha'ri'a law.), but I was a Baptist, and I have SEEN and HEARD from the pews how MANY of you want to "Return America to God as a "Christian Nation".

Sure sounds like an imposition to me.

Guys, Charlemagne is dead, the HRE is gone. Deal with it.
