...that your 'madness' is your own making, at the denial of the inherent goodness of the place to which you were rightfully ordained?

...or do you think that God made you an 'inherently evil' being for his own sick amusement? Rest assured - whatever God's beliefs on any subject, HE doesn't listen to any human who wants to speak from a position of assumed holiness thereon, from the pulpit or from the 11 o clock news.

So, good or evil in His eyes, it has NOTHING to do with what you've been told your whole life.

...the question then remains : 'who made you?'

Well?

::sigh::

"Anyway to get on with my post. I can't get this infatuation, Obsession, whatever it is you call it out of my head."

Perhaps that is because it was never meant to leave, but rather to be given its rightful place? Perhaps you were born to be a boon unto the world, if you would but accept this and let yourself - knowing where the boon of your nature lie.

Can you discern? Or is it all just ill to you... either way, I've never seen strife nor refusal of that place which one was ordained to to serve well.

"What can I do to ease the madness lurking within?"

Cease it? Oh, aye - but you view the madness as something different, and thus insist upon forging it.

'God grant me the courage to change those things which I can...'

"I love him. He loves me. I keep reminding myself of that no matter what he says to hurt me for the heat of the moment. What do you think?"

I think your 'madness,' as you call it, has taught you to turn the other cheek and suffer indignity with love. :) Is this ill? However YOU judge it, rest assured that such is but its beginnings.

You are a boon if you follow your heart's nature, a plague if you follow the world when it tells you what you are.

One way lies madness. I cannot tell you which to choose - pearls before swine, with no offense to you, for you will choose as you will regardless.

Do you choose the place which the world has selected for you?

...or do you choose that place which another has ordained you to, laying your nature within you to draw you inexorably thereunto.

The choice, as it was lain from the start, is inviolably yours.
