So it appears that just not being what God would want me to do isn't enough to keep me from trying to fulfill my physical, and even more so emotional, needs. What a great testamony, huh?

Hi Dakota, I don't think it's a bad testimony.

Sexual/Romantic desires try to get themselves fulfilled. I think that's pretty normal, really.

Perhaps it might actually be well worth your while experimenting in such a fashion, if it gives you alternative outlets?

I've often said, and I think I believe, that God doesn't rate sin as one being worse than another.

Don't you think, though, that God would rate a murder as being a worse sin than taking home a couple of sheets of office stationary, surely?

And how am I supposed to reconcile what happened, and more importantly, how I FEEL about what happened, with my so called commitment to God? What do you do when you know it's wrong, but do it anyway? What do you do when you DON'T do what Jesus would do?

What about saying an Act of Contrition, or otherwise praying to God and apologising for whatever it was you feel you did wrong? After all, the just man falls seven times daily.

But perhaps if you felt it was bad, it might be worth your while trying to analyse what was bad about it.
