I don't know about that, then again, I guess I might be fortunate in that I live in a country that isn't as "paranoid" as is America, not that paedophilia is legal in Australia, far from it. But we don't seem to have the pressures that you guys appearto have. I mean, I know of many men who show affection to boys, even in church circles. Hugging a child, greeting him with a kiss is not illegal in this country, it isn't immoral, of viewed as innapropriate. "A small boy came up to me after church yesterday and grabbed my hands for a bit - I loved it, but I was very worried in case anyone saw and commented." -that is really sad. I'm glad we haven't reached that stage yet. I don't see why you should be worried about anyone else, after all it's not like you did (or planned) to do anything illegal. If a child came up to me and grabbed my hand, great! I'd enjoy it too, but wouldn't worry about what anyone else said. |
