I've been trying to give it up for about 18 years now, no luck though. I questioned a trusted older colleague in church once about it. He felt that it wasn't sinful, because he said that The Lord gave us Sexual Desire, cause without it we couldn't reproduce. Also reading in the "Dear bla-bla" sections of newspapers & magazines, the advice is that it's perfectly natural & healthy, cause it allow the body to replace old sperm with new sperm. And in some cases if you don't do it for a long time (weeks or so), sometimes you could cause a slight pain or knot as they call it, but I don't want to frighten anyone. In the past my female partner & I had to provide samples for testing in the lab, cause we were trying for a baby for ages & nothing was happening. The results for me came back fine, but she had a blockage, due to an ectopic pregnancy & eventually had a hysterectomy about a year ago. She's fine now & free of pain which she was in for well over 6 months. Another little point, probably quite amusing if you think about it. How many unwanted pregnancies have occured through Masterbation??? I'll leave it at that, cause another little joke says that the pregnancy rate amongst Gay men is also at an all time low!
