Yes, my partner is my girlfriend, or fiancee, we've been together for 5 years now. She has children of her own. She is aware that I hang around quite frequently with young people, mainly her son's friends, who come to me for support & friendship. She is not happy about the situation, but puts up with it, she has also said, that if she thought I was a predator of any kind, she would finish it, cause she wouldn't want her kids in any danger. I class myself as a Protector & adapted the BL term after reading up on the subject on Boylinks. I have been making friends with younger people since I was 15yo & feel more comfortable in their company. I had an unhappy childhood & a bad experience, so I feel that I've been called by God to help youngsters in similar situations. I've befriended kids from single families, a youngster in trouble with the Police (10 years ago) & kept him clean for a good 9 months. Some hairy times as well with him, as he has a physically abusive step-father. I then prayed for a long time, to help complete a family (become a step-father), which led me to meet my partner & her 4 sons. Most of them have grown up now & they are all good friends. The youngest is a well built lad of 13, very strong for his age & quite a handful at times, but he's her baby (the father denies parental attachment to him). I am accepted by youngsters because I treat them as my equals, I dont talk down to them & I even share their taste in music, following some rap artists & current "nu-metal" bands (except Slipknot - too freaky for comfort). They feel happy sharing their problems with me & know that I have a good & loving heart & spend long periods of time with them whenever I can. I don't think I will ever "come-out" to my partner, cause I don't feel that its the right thing to do. As in a previous post, I have a low sx-drive & have nothing to do with Porn of any kind.
