...to much information...is a term that comes to mind. Over the weekend I've had the chance to pass very little comment with him. Except for the occasional "alright", which is currently a greeting/question, used by everyone in the UK at the moment. The Gay guy especially has been doing his best to make little comments here & there, not meaning anything I guess, but he's not too careful about what he says with Guests around. Yesterday, one of the other staff (a man) saw me looking at this kid, he's okay (he's the one with 10 kids). He said to me "you like him don't ya?", I just said nothing, "are you do, you've gone bright red. why dont ya just ask him out." "Nah", I said. He then spoke to one of the girls (17yo) working in the shop & she spoke to the kid, who's reply was on the lines of "thanks for the interest, but I'm not that way inclined" (which meant that he was not upset by my interest in him, but he was saying he wasn't gay). Setbacks, yes, very probably, but hopefully in time, I will get to know him properly on a work basis & form a friendship from there. I will cease my talking at work on the subject, but it's very hard not to look at him for long periods of time. It was a very hot day & so is today going to be, so I also got plenty of B-Watching time at work out of the window. Which always bring a warm feeling to my heart. Thanks again MF72 |
