My situation

I did have a distant father. Before my parents divorced my father was always too busy or tired from work to spend time with me. After the divorce I saw him only rarely (although the times I did see him we had a lot of fun, more than when he actually lived with us). Its hard to say if I loved him or not, I know that to this day I have a lot of resentment towards him (see my website http://www.fpc.net/~drifter/Personal_Songs.html for a better idea of how I currently feel about the situation). However, I remember having BL tendencies from as far back as kindergarten. At that time my father still lived with us, and although he was distant even then, I dont believe that at that age, a child notices such things. In fact, I was oblivious to the problems my parents were having, even though they reached a point where my mom spirited us away to a different country to stay with family and hide from my father. At that age, I didnt understand what was going on, and figured we were simply on vacation. Since I can trace my BL tendencies back to such an early stage of my life, before anything major happened, before the divorce, etc. I find it hard to believe that my father's distant relationship affected my BLhood. It is hard to believe any environmental factors at all affected it since it is such an early age, and it is an age in which I had no clue what sex was. So I am inclined to believe, because of that and other reasons, that I was born a BL due to genetic factors (and the number of pedophiles in my family tree points to this fact as well). |
