Hi brother, you are not alone. We all get discouraged but remember we have the victory in jesus. The flesh is weak but he is strong. Lean on Him. Trust in Him and His word. Because of our sin nature we all will struggle. We will do the things we don't want to do and the things we want to do we won't do. Sorta how Paul put it. We all struggle brother. Straight, gay, man, women don't matter. Stuggling is a part of life and can actually help us grow if we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us. Hang in there brother God will do a work in you I promise. I have done many things I wish I didn't do. Stand on God's word that if we confess our sins he is faithful to forgive us our sins. Don't matter how we feel the fact is our sins are forgiven if we confess them. Brother sin can feel good for a season, but the end is death. Realize that although it does feel good at the time it won't last. The things of this life are temporary. Seek the things of God which are eternal. Easier said than done I know. Brother forget the past and strive for whats now. Everyday is a new beginning. The joy of the Lord can be your strenth. Sing and rejoice NOW brother. Your alive and God wants to pour His Spirit out on you. Call on him to fill u now. There is no greater joy than the joy of the Lord. Nothing on this earth can compare to the joy and peace God provides. I know from experience. I've tried many things and nothing will satisfy like God can. |
