"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28).

Jesus says that thought is similar to action -- adultery can happen in one's heart before it physically happens. If we fantasize about doing something sexual with a person (whether married or not), it is as if we've already done it. Admire beauty, okay. But be careful where your thoughts go after that. A lot of us have a problem with dwelling too much on these things... which leads in sinful directions. Admiring beauty might be temptation to us (which is not sin), but what we do with this tempation can certainly lead to sin. It is a fine line for many of us. I believe we need to keep our thought life pure. And looking for things that we know will tempt us probably isn't the best way toward a cure. Self-control is probably the biggest battle for boylovers. Any advice toward becoming an overcomer is greatly appreciated.
