When you lust after someone sexually, male or female, you are stealing. They don't belong to you. Therein lies the sin. I certainly agree if you and/or the person you lust after are married. But what about lusting sexually after someone who is not married? Whom does an unmarried person belong to? Another point is what "lust" actually means. It might be that Jesus meant lusting after someone with the purpose of getting sexual involved with him or her. If you feel sexual excited by looking at someone without having this purpose in mind, then it is not lust (maybe), as you are not lusting "after" someone. I say "maybe" because this is my personal opinion... I don't know. WP (By the way... I got a sigpic, what do you all think? It's free to download, no copyright at all!) |
