Losing a friend to God.

Or the friends interpretation of God anyhow. Why would someone that considers himself a Christian suddenly through his actions give up the friends they have made in this community? I am somewhat confused as to why one who seemed to accept friendship for what it was would suddenly expect the friendship to be what he wanted? I rather feel this is a bit unfair. Even more confusing to me is the fact that despite his new found beliefs he still won't let go completely and follow them totally. He still expects persons to respond as if nothing had changed and his actions have not effected anyone at all. When I question his actions I am met with threats that basically equal an answer of "If you don't like it then leave." I'm not even sure why I am posting this to begin with but I suppose that it would in essance bring up the question that I always ask myself. Why do people call themselves Christians when their actions hurt and make a mockery of themselves? FB Leaving one passenger at the curb.
