In my opinion, the child sexual abuse charges obviously need to stick, but I dont think he should be punished for covering up the crime, because although at first he did hide the boys in his house and washed their clothes, he did show remorse by convincing them to turn themselves in, and driving them to the police station so that they could. All of this manipulation/brainwashing stuff is just speculation though. When the prosecutor tried to take that route, the judge stopped him, stating that there is no evidence to continue that line of prosecution. |
