Right, this was told to me by my good female friend Eve, who is going to be an evangelist in the USA, called by God. I think she read about it in a book & parts may've been covered in one of those "tracks" leaflets. The celebacy thing, I agree with you & Huck on, I don't understand it either, but that's what I've been told. The story surrounded the early days of a young high ranking priest in the early 1900's that was sent to a special training place for priests I guess, maybe he was dedicated to God or something like that. Well one night, when he was about 12, he was woken by someone in bed with him. It was one of the trainers, molesting him. He fought his abuser off & reported him to the higher ranking members of the priesthood, where he was severly told of for "not allowing this trainer" to do what he wanted. It was a big shock to me hearing about it, but that's probably where the cover-ups started all those years ago. Which spirialed out of control, in boarding schools & Childrens homes, etc. I will try to contact Eve & get the name of the book, she got this information from & I will pass the name of it on as a seperate thread. Btw - never seen the South Park episode about the Giant Spider, but did hear the one about the Sea-men. TTYL - Halo |
