anyone wanna recommend some blues?

Im usually into heavy metal and rock type music. But Ive come to realize that blues guitarists are often much better than any rock guitarist. So, since Im new to the genre, and now that someone has brought up the subject of blues. Can anyone recommend some songs or cd's (preferably ones with a mean guitar)?
