I notice that a lot of people on the other end of the pond refer to a boy's hair color as "ginger" -- what is that? I hardly ever hear that word in the States unless it's about a spice in cooking. I picture reddish-brown, or is it just brown? We call brown hair "brunette" on this side of the pond, and gold/yellow hair "blond" (shades of: sandy-blond, platinum-blond, dishwater-blond, toe-headed). And red... well, "red". :) What do you call a color that is mainly blond with some red in it? --- My friend has some of that color in his eyebrows. splash me back |
