Oliver, Yesterday, after the morning services, I told our pastor about the visit. When I made the comment about my wondering when J became so wise, pastor smilied and said "The way it normally happens is the kids can see things more clearly than adults can. We often miss the simple things because we are so focused on one thing at a time. It's kind of like walking on dollors to find a lost dime. We miss the riches because we are looking for the small gain." I thought about all the times I had that and spent the rest of the day kicking myself for missing several opportunities that come and gone, all because I was looking for the "lost dime" and mot expecting anything else. Your comments only confirm what Pastor said. God's way reenforcing a point.:) Mavrick |
