Speaking from experience, turning to sin, as a christian is hell on earth for your soul. I watched as my other druggie friends, who were not saved, thoroughly enjoyed our activities, however I always had something holding me back. Something that just wouldn't let me fully enjoy those worldly pleasures. Some voice in me saying "this is not right".

I cannot speak for anyone but me, because I cannot say, for a fact that anyone has truly given their heart to Christ. Only them and God know.

What I can do is make observations. For me, the farther in sin I got, the closer to death I could feel myself creep. If a christian were to fall in to sin and do atrocious things they will not live long here on earth. The Devil still can rule our body, and since our souls are already spoken for, he wants to destroy our bodies so that we cannot help God here on earth.

Hypothetically, you can bring up many what ifs, but I just don't see it possible for a true Christian to do certain things. If Hitler were a Christian and still tried to pursue the same path he did, he would have died long before WW2.

I believe 2pac (as I stated in an earlier post) is an example of this. Through his music, I could hear the lyrics of a christian in certain songs. His struggle with his faith. Like I said, only he and God know what was in his heart, but I think he was saved from an early age. I believe he died so young because he refused to live as God planned. God probably had great plans for Pac's awesome talent. Pac just kept turning to thug life, and he gave satan control of his body. So satan destroyed him.

As for Jim Jones, or even David Koresh, I don't know if they were truly saved. Perhaps they were, and they allowed the devil to use their own ego to lead them to destruction. If they were saved, then they are in heaven now.

Heck, I have mormons comming over tonight to convert me (they think, but I am going to challenge their beliefs). Was Joseph Smith truly saved? Or did he just believe that he was so great that he must be a prophet, and he created Mormonism for his own self glorification? If he did, will mormons still go to heaven?

I believe that if they confess with their mouths and believe in their heart that Jesus is their lord and savior, they will. They will just be in for a big surprise when they get there. :)

Now I'm getting off track.

Basically, what I'm getting as is that once we are saved, the Holy Spirit is a permanent fixture in us. It will not allow us to live an unGodly life and be happy. We will be tormented. Unsaved people can enjoy their sin filled lives without a care. They are just empty inside.

In an extreme case, due to scripture, you might convince me that it is possible for a christian to completely reject God and fall away, in that case, however, there is no return for them. Hebrews 6 points this out.

I believe this because, when a person is saved, even though they may not feel a big change, an ENORMOUS change has occurred within themselves. To say that a christian can sin and not be saved would be to make light of this occurrence. It would almost be like saying that we EARN heaven by not sinning. That being saved was just an initiation, and that from that point on, we must keep up with our sins so that we remember each and every one to ask forgiveness for. ...

Now I'm just rambling... I'll stop for now :)
