Drifter, I often hear people talk about "lifesytle" choices - strange that we never hear about the 'straight lifestyle', the 'hetero lifestyle', etc. This is why the "lifestyle" reference makes me cringe just a little... People make choices, but I do not believe that makes it a lifestyle. Highly developed countries lead one lifestyle, and under-developed countries have another lifestyle. Sexual orientation and sexual practices, like sexual conduct are behaviours that together are but one small part of any person's life. Do I have a BL Lifestyle because I'm attracted to boys? If I choose not to act on my attraction, does that mean I'm not living my BL Lifestyle? Peace of Christ, Bach |
