and in such a way that it makes it difficult to understand where you are coming from with this response. So, instead let me clarify that if you replace all instances of the word romantic in my statement with the word sexual, it still expresses how I feel. I believe that there is a difference between morality that is globally applicable and the morals taught in the bible. Some things such as homosexuality may not be condemned in other religions but it is in ours, so I dont believe in judging everyone based on our beleifs (it has to do with respecting other people's beleifs). Therefore when I speak of things being morally wrong or morally right, Im taking religion out of the picture in respect of all those people who are of a different religion or atheists. Logically, I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with sexual bl relationships or sexual gay relationships. But in my religion it is wrong, so I refrain from it and I think all christians should.But if you are not christian, then I cant tell you not to have gay sex or not to have sexual relationships with a boy, because other than religion, there is nothing fundamentally wrong with either act. love in Christ Jesus, Drifter |
