Scott, Long time no see. It's good that you've taken the time and thought to write out your feelings. That's a step in the right direction -- thinking, questioning, and analyzing. A friend once told me, when I thought I was in a bad place, that it's at those times that we are perhaps closest to God... it's at those times that He's accomplishing the most in us, and bringing us closer to Him. It looks like that's what God is doing with you. Your words are all about your position in Him and your love for Him. Yes, He does STILL love you -- and what a Great Love that must be, to continue loving us when we constantly fail. He loves you so much that He wants to be even closer to you, and He wants you to seek Him and call on Him daily. I pray for you and encourage you to have the desire to choose that more often. Peace.
