Chris Still Needs Prayer

Hi Everyone,

Chris is still having problems with his "rehabilitation" classes. It seems they don't like to hear the truth… only those things that inflate their collective egos, and enable them to expound on their favorite theories as to what it entails to be a minor attracted adult.

When he attended his last class, Chris admitted to them that he is addicted to pornography, and asked his probation officer to take his computer away, until such time (if ever) that he feels that he is no longer controlled by his addiction. Of course, it was difficult enough for him to realize his addiction, and an even more difficult decision to admit it. Now, because he has admitted it to them, instead of trying to help him to overcome it, they have chosen to accuse him of "stringing them along", and he was told by his probation officer that the "experts" conducting the class didn't want him to attend this week, and he is left wondering what their next step is.

Instead of trying to work with Chris, who is at a loss as to how to deal with his present addiction, they apparently want to cover their bungling attempts at therapy by expelling him from the class. What a joke!

Please pray that God will keep His loving hand on Chris as he endures yet another crisis. Satan is really putting him through a lot of misery and emotional pain. One thing is sure, though… Even though the devil is laying this misery on Chris, God will not permit him to take him out of His hand.

Your prayers for Chris are gratefully and graciously appreciated.

Please pray also for Chris' minister, Pastor Joe, and Pastor Joe's wife, who have been a great and caring spiritual support to Chris in his fight against the enemy.

I want to include that I believe Chris' probation officer is doing his best to help Chris, and believes in his honest efforts to straighten out his life. He has been working very well with Chris as far as he is able. Of course, there are certain aspects of Chris' case where he is unable to act as he would wish, but he respects Chris and does as much as he is able to help. Please include him in your prayers.

Chris has found a therapist who is willing to work with him to help solve his addiction. She seems fascinated with Chris' honesty, and is eager to work with him on his problems. Please pray that God will help them both. The lady is a psychologist, and working with her could prove to be a breakthrough for all of us.

God bless you all.

Love in Christ.
