Do you believe that Judas went to Heaven or Hell? I believe he went to heaven because although he walked away from God for a short period of time he did repent. (Matt. 27:3) Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders. Repentance is the key not the fact that we are all humans. They refuse to rely on faith. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who COMES to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I capitalized "comes" because you cannot be someone that denies God and also be one that comes to God. All people have a choice and those that refuse to make the right choice will suffer the consequences of their choice. Love in Christ, drew |
