I beleive this because everyone has the opportunity to repent, but because of the hardness of their hearts and their pride they refuse to call on Him to be saved. Yes, they do, but they are still human. They refuse to rely on faith. That is the only way we can know God. Now Satan, he had no doubt in his mind that God existed. He stood in God's face and told Him that he would build a better kingdom. I can see ETERNAL damnation for that. Here is an interesting question; Do you believe that Judas went to Heaven or Hell? Something in me just refuses to believe that there is anything that a human can do in this flash of time, we call life, that merits ETERNITY in suffering unspeakable torment. I have scoured the Bible and original translations, and it just isn't clear. |
