I firmly beleive that each person that rejects God will spend eternity in hell. I beleive this because everyone has the opportunity to repent, but because of the hardness of their hearts and their pride they refuse to call on Him to be saved. >Mormons believe that EVERYONE is saved, through Jesus, weather they accept Him or not.Basically, Hell is their torment in finally understanding how they turned their backs on God, and when they repent, while in Hell, they are forgiven and then brought to Heaven. This goes against scripture. The bible clearly states that we must confess and beleive to be saved. (Romans 10:9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Also he is a loving God he does not torture people to make them beleive it is His goodness that leads people to repentance. (Romans 2:4)Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? >You are probably wondering why, then, they bother proselytizing non mormons then. Well, they believe in different levels of heaven. Those that work the hardest for God get the greatest rewards, ect. God does not have a favorite child.(Acts10:34)Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons. We are all saved by grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
