Thats right, if you want the money grabbing to stop, then stop giving them money. Thats as simple as it gets. The blame isnt entirely on them, the blame is also on you for allowing yourself to be used like this. Your doing them and yourself a great disservice by teaching them that manipulating people for money does not bring any consequences. I guarantee you things would change if you put your foot down and dont give them any money, or even better if you tell them you are no longer going to hang out with them until they learn to stop asking for money.
