Jules,

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm not just around kids at church, so it's not too much a burdon to have to step back. I'm not attachced to any of them, so leaving them is not emotionally wrecking for me or them. You're right, though, I do have to watch myself even that much more closely. The trick is to fill the mind up with things that you would normally suffer temptation from. That's where scripture study and accountability come in. It does no good to step away without something else to fill in the void. Where I've seen other churches and people make the mistakes is that they try to take away temptation, but don't offer any means to have a spring board for support. Perhaps that's what happened to you.

I don't know about a grieveing process. The youth pastor asked me if I was "broken" over my sin. My resolve is that I will never be broken over who I am. That would be like saying I don't like what God has created me to be, and He did create me.

I will cry over the many boys I have watched in lust and who probably knew no better than to be the objects of eye candy. Sites can claim "nothing illegal" until they are blue in the face. If it causes you to be tempted, it is too much. I doubt I will go back to boylinks, and I may have a filter or a check up to make sure I don't either. I hope and pray things will work out for all of us. I know everyone on this board has a story to share. I've enjoyed reading those of others, and thanks again for sharing yours.

Blessings,
Oliver
