I saw the link you posted to boylover, and followed it to the post you were refering to. What I saw was an example to illustrate how we humans can sometimes do things that we honestly think is out of love, but in fact is not. If you have never done something you thought was out of love, only to discover later that it was a more selfish reason, I envy you. I have done that far too many times. So in that respect, I have something in common with Dahmer. But I didn't see anything to take offense at. I didn't see anyone being accused of eating boy's organs and boiling their skulls. I saw an example showing that that even Dahmer, as sick as his actions were, THOUGHT he was acting out of love. I saw that as a warning that we too can do things that we THINK are out of love, but isn't. I happen to agree with that. But even if I didn't, I wouldn't take offense at the example. Maybe others interpreted it like you did, I don't know. I must admit I didn't see the smugness you spoke of either. But the "tone" of a post is a lot harder to interpret, so I guess it's up to each individual to decide what they see. I'm wondering if maybe you're just frustrated over not finding too many people here with very similar views to yours, and perhaps that frustration is sort of coloring how you see things. As a pedophile, I'm used to being vilified and hated by people who don't understand. That makes it easier for me to see hate, even where there isn't any. Because I'm so used to seeing it.
