I wouldn't take offense at the example.

That really isn't the point and it demonstrates a lack of empathy from you and everyone else here who is defending RF - I took great offense to the comment, based upon the posts leading up to it and the fact anti-pedophiles often make comparisons between loving pedophiles and people who murder children, the comment was (at the very least) tasteless and to me, downright offensive. Whether RF intended it to be offensive is irrelevant, God views intent as irrelvant - a sin offering was required even when people sinned unintentionally (see Leviticus 4). For example, the use of 'foul' language itself to me is unoffensive. But Genghis stated quite clearly it deeply offended him. So what did I do? Did I launch into a whole series of reasons why he shouldn't be offended and should adopt my view of that type of language? No - I simply and sincerely apologized because I offended him. Wherever possible, we should seek not to be offensive and RF clearly could care less whom he offends or how bad, he is unapologetic, shows no restraint and he is therefore shown no restraint nor offered any apology in my posts to him. You reap what you sow...

In Christ,
J

Come away, O human child,
to the waters of the wild,
with a fairy hand in hand,
for the world’s more full of weeping
than you can understand.
