Technically, and blood-to-blood contact or intake of semen from an infected person will possibly spread the HIV virus. It can very easily spread from vaginal sex. That's why protection is absolutely necessary in all cases, but even still, the best protection, condoms, only provide about a 98% chance of stopping the HIV virus. Thing about homosexual sex is that without the threat of pregnancy the use of protection was not widespread until it was too late and it happened to stigmatise that particular group. At least, that's what I read. I'm no doctor but I think those are facts. |
