...though I've done some major skimming of The Philosopher's Stone when the movie came out and The Chamber of Secrets the day after I watched it. I have both The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire as well but won't be picking them up until after the movies are made - I find if I read the book first, I'm usually disappointed by the cinematic representation of it whereas if I watch the movie first, the novelization fills in the details. In Christ, J Come away, O human child, to the waters of the wild, with a fairy hand in hand, for the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand. |
