When there is a logical link between the two actions or positions you are comparing

I just want to clarify my position, so as to illustrate that I truly was not implying that you are the same as Jeffery. I don't mean to start another debate.

The logical link is that, I took, from your statement, that if something is done out of love, it cannot be wrong. Now, to take that out to it's extreme end, ANYTHING must be ok, as long as it is done out of love. (Now here is the tricky part, you must separate out, your personal situation, and look at this as a observer) According to Jeffery, what he was doing WAS out of love, and human psychology tells us that that is quite possible. Therefore, I am asserting that no matter how much anyone believes they are doing something out of love, it doesn't make it the right thing to do.

The Bible does the same thing. It tells us that even Satan and his demons believe in Jesus. This is not saying that we are anywhere near as bad as Satan and his demons, it is illustrating that simply "believing" in Jesus, doesn't mean we are saved.

non debatingly :)
