Hi Plato, (I'm glad you use the shorter version of Plato for your 'nick. It's so much easier to type.) When I discuss faith issues with people, sometimes I like to start by telling them that, while I might be quite convinced of my own faith in God, and in certain aspects of that faith, I am also awaire that everyone must make up thier own minds. So I do not try to "push" my faith or beliefs on anyone, regardless of how strongly I feel about them. There was a time when I was like that and I regret all of the resulting hard feelings such a thing produced in my relationships with friends and family. I believe that the only kind of sex that is honored by God is that which is shared between a husband and wife. His Word is pretty clear and concise about that. That is why He created men and women the way He did, and it is for a very good reason. And the very good reason is the "missing link" that I mentioned in my subject box. Only a man and a woman can bring new life into the world. (Notice I did not say "create". Only God can trully create life, men and women play an important role in the process, but it is a role just the same...it is ultimately God who creates.) While it is true that sex between two people is a wonderful and enjoyable experience, it is also true that the joy of the experience does not end there. I believe that the greatest joy in sexual union is the miracle of life! And that is something that no other form of sexuality is capable of. Sex between two men, two women, a man and a boy, two boys, a man and an animal....etc, fails to give the greatest experience of joy. I have another reason for not endorsing sex between a man and a boy. It is one of common sense. While that kind of a sexual encounter MIGHT be a good experience for the two individuals involved (and I use the word "might" quite strongly), society at large does not see it as such. And it is this society in which we all must live. This is something which absolutely must be given the utmost in concideration. While the man and the boy could very well keep thier activities secret from the rest of the world, imagine the kind of work involved in doing so. And even the best kept secrets have a way of comming out in time. And if this secret life of theirs is ever exposed, the resulting legal and social horrors are terrible. I can say this from experience, brother, because I myself am now a registered sexual offender, even though I have never had sex with a boy at all. This happened to me because of some books I had in my house. Our society trully tends to over-react big time when it comes to anything pertaining to children and sex. Right or wrong, it is an absolute fact of life here on planet earth! I hope you will take my advise and think twice about your wanting to have sex with your YF. Please know that I do not mean to make you angry or anything like that, I believe you are a brother in Christ and I respect you for that. God Bless, I am still praying for you.
