Hi Heather,

It's been too long since I have had the opportunity to talk with you, or at least say "Hi". I've heard about what is going on with your eyes and with being on-line, and all that (I spoke with Mark this weekend). Please know that you are in my prayers.

Thank you so much for your help in this matter. I just got out of my weekly session with "K", my Psycologist (I know her name has been mentioned in here but I think I feel better just writting "K".) She is connected with NARTH and she believes in Reorientation theropy. However, she has told me (today's session included) that while, in time, we will explore this theropy, she is definately not going to try to push it on me in any way if I feel I am actually more comfortable with my celibacy and being a BL.

Anyway, I agree with your assesment with NARTH and the proper question to ask about them. I guess that from what I have read so far, I would have to say that it is easier to imagine a negative attitude from them than a possative one. So, I have done this for the time being...I called Mrs. Nicolosi and I spoke with her briefly. I gave her the address to CBLF and invited her to come in here and do some reading and research on her own. I hope she does just that. "K" suggested something today that I would also probably agree with, and that is; let them do an article on us (of course I couldn't stop them if I wanted to anyway), and then if we dissagree with what is written, we (meaning anyone here who felt so inclined) could always write a rebuttle. Perhaps that would be a better way all the way around.

You know, it is always the fact that we are so very guarded about ourselves and what we do (and rightly so), that we wind up being paranoid about any kind of exposure to the "outside world". However, I still believe very deeply that because God is with us, even that which we may at first see as being bad or negative, will eventually be for the good. In my life I have seen this happen many times. "All things work for the good for those who are in Christ Jesus..." is indeed a huge truth for anyone who calls Jesus his or her Lord and personal Savior. I know this in my heart and soul by experience.

At any rate, there is no hurry to do an article, or anything like that. I prefer to let God have His way in my life, with His own timing and purpose...it's always so much better that way!

God Bless!

Love in Christ Jesus,
Chris
