Hmmm. I would say this is a bit on the selfish side though I will consider that you are both able and mature adults who would be the best parents that ever lived for the sake of this conversation. When have you ever heard of someone having a child for unselfish reasons? (not counting people who have a child accidentally). Its impossible to have a child for unselfish reasons unless your religious beleifs lead you to believe that souls without a body are floating around somewhere in a state of torment or wishing to be born (or unless you are an orthodox Jew hoping your son will be the messiah...or some other variation of such beleifs). |
