Erotic love is intended to be expressed between a man and a woman in a married relationship. The struggles that we all experience with our sexuality is due to the inheritance of a fallen nature. That's where I need strong proof. The war of my flesh would seem to be my desire to do things that bring forth things that are fruit of the flesh, not of the fruit of the Spirit-- but if the fruit of the Spirit is evident, then how can it come from a bad tree?
