While questioning is part of attempting to understand, the love that is written about in scripture is 'agape' or pure love which only God can give us. Erotic love is intended to be expressed between a man and a woman in a married relationship. The struggles that we all experience with our sexuality is due to the inheritance of a fallen nature. Sexual sin always separates us from God as does other sins. Repentance always brings us back to God through Jesus Christ. 'O wretched man that I am, who will deliver me?' Paul said 'I thank God through Jesus Christ'. It is a war between the flesh and the Spirit. Our hearts are deceptive. WE ALL NEED HELP!!!!!!!! |
