Family 'Out'ing

Im wondering how many of you folks have come out of the closet to your family, either out of your own free will or due to circumstances beyond your control. For those of you who have...what were the results? how did your family react? how has their relationship with you changed? how well do they understand the situation? Also, are they religious? and were they when they found out? and how did that affect their reaction?
