not out of choice - circumstances required it. They were (are) highly supportive and positive, though after the initial revelation in a severe crisis we haven't talked about it much. Their supportive attitude, given his profession and their general attitudes was not a surprise, but still good to see. Other than them, I'm not out to other members of my family.
