I havent seen the threads either though I saw both Billy Elliot and the documentary on New Year's Day. A very moving film and I agree with Halo that the boy who played the cross-dresser was very brave. If Jamie was chided on giving him a kiss, I dont want to imagine what the boy actor got from his mates! I would have liked to see something of what happened between Billy going to Ballet School and the final scene. Surely he went home for holidays and saw Michael, and it would have been nice to see how his dancing developed in the school itself. Anyway a first clas film and very enjoyable |
