A bit about JR

It's been a while since I gave you anupdate on things here. So I thought that I would take a few moments of your time and bring you up to date. If you have read the last post I put up you know that I got JR a 4 wheeler for Christmas. He has been good to his word and been careful with it. He talked me into getting him a snow plow for it, something that really needed here. He's having a blast with the 4 wheeler. And he has been enjoying using the snow plow to clear out the driveway. He has gotten the idea to use the plow to make money plowing the neighbor's driveways. (Thanks to Andy. ;) ) He wants to start doing so right away, but I told him that he had to practice first so that he doesn't damage anyone else's yard or driveway. He has agreed and has been practicing in our driveway. And he has gotten much better with it. As for me, I go to the doctor tomorrow to see about getting my hand out of this cast. I hope he takes it off. But if he doesn't, I will have to trust that God will give me the ability to deal with it. I have been dealing with two young boys that come from a very bad situation. I would ask that you pray for them. They are, basically, unwanted by thier mother and thier father is not in the picture. Over the past few weeks JR has befriended them and they have become a regular part of the dinner table around here. As far as I know, niether of them is Saved. They have been asking a lot of questions about what JR and I believe. I hope that, through them, God will reach the family and bring them into the Family of God. Mav |
