it is certainly a form of 'dis-ease' - leaving us less 'at ease' with the world than we would be if we were straight. But the question is how to respond to such a status; does one focus on being 'ill' and spend a lot of effort 'trying to get better' - or does one accept it more as a form of disability which isn't going to get better, and build a life 'despite' it, (or indeed enabled to care for boys better because of it). I've settled for the latter - on the whole not seeking 'healing', not least because I have little evidence of people really ever seeing such changes in their lives; certainly the medical profession offers no cures - their treatment seems to focus on discouraging us from acting on our desires. As far as 'Christian healing' is concerned, I am prepared to accept that it may happen, but don't see any value in strenuously chasing after it for myself.

Note that I speak as someone whose sexuality is primarily BL, with no hetrosexuality visible. The other pattern we see on this board is those for whom the BL attraction is an extra element in addition to adult to adult attractions; I don't know if they'd take the same approach.

Incidentally welcome to the board, and thanks for an interesting question. I look forward to hearing more about where you are 'coming from'.
