I know I don't post here anymore, but I thought this needed a response. Ward is right, and I think anyone who has read Mavrick's posts from the beginning and has been paying attention knows that. I think it could just get mean to get into too much proof, but the third paragraph of this post: http://www.cblf.org/messages/19114.htm shows some of the many inconsistencies (voice recognition systems don't work like that at all). The thing is, any joy Mavrick is getting from this is hollow, and all the people here defending him are just encouraging this. A mod may have to step in eventually, but I hope Mavrick will come to terms with this. I'm not a psychologist, but I hope and think that this is not related to a mental disorder. I think he's just lonely like so many of us, which is probably why so many here believe him so easily. This post is very, very hard for me to write, but I do hope we get to know the real person behind these posts, and that he can come as himself. This place helped me so much, and I'd hate for him to miss it. |
