Computer man, Hey! Well, this is a really great place and isn't normally like this. I think the rest of this Mavrick thing will be mainly handled over e-mails anyway. There are a lot of great people here, including the webmaters Forgiven and Nate, who have kinda kept silent lately because of this. I hope you get a lot out of this place. :) As for the voice recognition stuff, I'd say that speaking in a normal voice, you'd never get anything remotely that good, and bad in some places (like the deletion of a space). Although I may not be allowed to say this (sorry if I'm not), I am a CS major in college and have been around some high end research in vr. It doesn't work close to this well, and it works fundamentally differentally because even the best programs on high end workstations only have a vague knowledge of context. There are other things, but I don't think this is so important. Somebody recently e-mailed me and said that this should get off the boards at this point because the facts were out, and I think he is probably right. This board is a great place for people who are dealing with this stuff and want to stay good with God. It should get back to BL stuff soon. Love, hopesalive |
