Idolatry

When one gets to depending on a boy for his happiness he has his focus in the wrong place. Been there done that and the Lord pulled me up short. I had got to thinking that I wanted a more intimate relationship with my yf. I was being selfish and thinking more of my own satisfaction that that of what was best for the boy. And it got me in trouble. Not too much trouble... yet. But enough trouble to get my attention. Listen up guys; lest you fall too, The only true intimacy is with God and anything less is just fooling ourselves. Worship Him & Him alone and everything else will follow. For those of you with young friends, (I've temporaraly lost mine) Don't let the boy be your god. Sorry to get preachy. luv ya |
