Hello World Perfect,
First of all, using poor grammar such as "You Don't Know Nothing" isn't a convincing means of proving I don't know anything, as you seem to insist here. This response is only intended to be addressed to you and not the other members of the forum. I'm satisified by now that the vast majority of CBLF are sincere when they state that they in no way endorse the radical social agenda being pushed by NAMBLA and that boylovers like themselves do not want age of consent laws radically changed.

I know a great deal about the Jeffrey Curley case. Curley was murdered in MA and as I lived at the time not far from where the murder took place, the news coverage and court testimony was widely publicized in our local papers. If you review this case you'll find conclusive evidence, both from court testimony by Charles Jaynes himself and the judicial documents attributing NAMBLA material sent to members addressed to Jaynes. He'd been a NAMBLA member since 1997. I've suplied a link to help you get started. ACLU which defended NAMBLA against the Curley family law suit never denied that Jaynes was a NAMBLA member only that the organization was "not guilty of criminal activity." You should also know that Jaynes kept a dairy, entered as evidence by the prosecution in which he details both his growing obsession with young boys and his membership in NAMBLA. You know nothing of the Curley case nor Jaynes' association with NAMBLA. Do you? I know you don't. Your apologia for NAMBLA, an organization which advocates the legitimization of pedophilia and advocates for sexual relations between young boys and men, is disgraceful.

When I stated in an earlier post that Jesus made clear the idea that the hottest place in Hell was reserved for those who hurt children, I wasn't claiming to be quoting him literally, by chapter and verse. As I've stated honestly to all in this forum, I am not a Christian. By that I mean, more precisely, I am not a religious believer. I do not single out Christianity as a faith to be especially rejected or which I oppose personally. Since this is a Christian forum, I only qualified my being not a Christian so that the members not be misled into thinking I was posting AS a Christian. I am neither an anti-Christian. I am Catholic by birth and tradition. I do not, however, attend any church or have any asssociation with the Catholic faith. I was no less troubled by the child sexual abuse scandals which have shaken the Church to its foundations. No less disgusted by the cover-ups and failure of the Church Heirarchy to protect kids from know predatory priests.
That's a whole other nightmare. One that would take more than a page to detail and discuss. Suffice it to say I'm in no hurry to rejoin the Church, even if I were to experience a sudden re-birth of faith. I'm not an atheist either. And I don't go running to the ACLU if I hear Christmas carols being sung on the steps of city hall. What I am is a skeptic. I doubt the existence of a Supernatual Being or anthropomorphic deity. I don't believe in ghosts..holy or unholy, as the case may be. But back to Jesus and those reserves of hottest flames saved only for those who hurt children. Although a skeptic, I can still quote Scripture directly from the Bible, since I still do own a copy. I'll quote directly from Matthew 18:6 "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believes in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a milstone hung around his neck and to drowned in the depths of the sea." You should know the rest..the verses about being "thrown into eternal fires" or "fiery Gehenna." I realize Jesus is not only referring to those who sin against children here, but I can't help but notice he's saying there are by FAR worse things in God's eternal judgement than being drowned with milstone tied around one's neck for those who do.

BY the way, NAMBLA published a charming pamphlet, sent to its members such as Charles Jaynes, produced in evidence at the Curley trial entitled "RAPE AND ESCAPE." I thought you should know SOMETHING about that which you're defending. It's YOU who Don't Know ANYTHING.

And by the way, I don't watch TV as a rule. But, how would shows like QUEER AS FOLK make me LESS accepting of homosexuality than I already am??? The cultural wasteland that is America is on TV!
