Hello, I'm back again

To begin with, I can tell you that I already last August gave birth to a little train of thought in discussing and elaborating on Matthew 18:6. You can find it here:

http://www.cblf.org/messages/18464.htm

I'm only telling you this because I actually do know my Bible - and now I also know what Jesus did and did not mean with that passage of the Gospel.

Back to NAMBLA: I've known the organization for almost 20 years (even though I live in Europe and I've never been one of its members). And I've also read several of their magazines and booklets, so I don't quite think you can state that I don't know anything.

Concerning the evidence at the Curley trial: a friend of mine, who is a well-known lawyer, told me that "the place where people can hear the greatest number of lies are the courts of law and justice". In other words, when defendants facing the death penalty are questioned during a criminal trial, they are more motivated to tell what they think will benefit themselves than what will contribute to the advancement of the truth. That's why I'm more prone to search for truth and rationality outside the courts of law rather than inside.

Furthermore, there isn't anything in my previous posts that is even remotely disgraceful in my apologia for NAMBLA, the simple reason being that there is no fault, and thus no need for apologia! As I told you before, one can't, with any legitimacy whatsoever, blame NAMBLA because of what one of its members did, unless that member's actions were explicitly endorsed by NAMBLA. And since NAMBLA doesn't endorse rape and killing of any kind, children or adults, bin Laden or Bush, your indictment against NAMBLA is, in this context, quite out of place and out of order, to say the least (as so many other things you've inadmissibly stated in your different posts). I think this concept is rather banal, and ultimately - whatever opinion I may have - in addition to all I've said up to now on the issue of NAMBLA, is, solely an issue between me and my Maker.

What I did say was (as you and everyone else can see) that when people are demonised into objects of hate, they may run amuck and do terrible things. This means that the more hate you scapegoat onto homosexuals and pedophiles, the more chance there is of them becoming dangerous - for real! This, in conclusion, means that people like the members of NAMBLA are not more responsible for what Curley did than people like Ron.
